STOP AMAIGBO ELECTION NOW OR FACE A CRISIS, UZODIMMA WARNED A looming leadership dispute in Amaigbo, a prominent community in Imo State, is raising serious concerns about a potential outbreak of unrest if the state government does not urgently intervene to halt a controversial town union election scheduled for April 6. Concerned stakeholders within the Amaigbo Town Union (ATU) have called on the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, to immediately suspend the planned election, warning that allowing the process to proceed under the current circumstances could trigger a major crisis in the community.
